A Proud History ...
The Sebire family has a proud history - since 1893 - of growing fresh cherries, with their first orchard located at the Mont De Lancey farm in Victoria's Yarra Valley, at Wandin North.
Exports of Mont De Lancey fruit started as early as 1895, when Henry Sebire dispatched the first shipment of apples and pears to London.
Wandin Valley Farms was originally founded in the early 1980's by Graeme Sebire (great grandson of Henry Sebire) and his wife Eileen, together with five other families from the Yarra Valley region. Since 2007, Wandin Valley Farms has been fully owned and operated by the Sebire and Jones families - with three generations of the family actively involved in the business.
The love of growing only 'the finest fresh cherries' continues within the Sebire family to this day.
The Mont-De Lancey homestead and surrounding land was donated by the Sebire family to the local community in the early 1990's, and is now a popular historic house and museum, open to the public.

"Please enjoy the 'fruits of our family'."
