Wandin Valley Farms have their own state of the art packing facility located approximately 1 hour from the City of Melbourne and International Airport.

Major investments have been made over the years including grading equipment utilising “flumed” water as the carrier of the fruit through the grading process. This not only keeps the fruit cool, but also handles the cherries in the gentlest of ways, further decreasing the opportunities for damage. Specialist conveyor equipment has been installed which allows movement of packed boxes from the packing line direct to the cool store for palletisation. This will further increase the length of time our cherries are within the “cool chain” process allowing for greater shelf life and improved product presentation.

We have also installed state of the art equipment to deliver cherries to you in a variety of package types - no longer do you have only the choice of loose bulk cherries. So whether you require a small pre-packed bag with zipper, a high graphic presentation box or a clamshell, we have the capability to meet your needs, with your own logo if required.

Our packing facility is committed to a safe environment for its employees as well as the safe handling of the fruit to be packed. This has resulted in a fully accredited workplace to the required Australian Standards.
